Spiedo is a typical dish of the Pre- Alps in the Province of Treviso. It’s especially eaten during the winter months because of its very slow cooking (about 6 hours) that gives a particular colour and smell to pork, chicken, rabbit, veal and birds meat.

Side dishes are important, too: vegetables, such as the typical Radicchio from Treviso or Castelfranco, beans, polenta and naturally a good glass of Prosecco DOC.
